Film editor and director. Studied at the Lisbon Theatre and Film School. Since 2017, he has worked as an editor across fiction and documentary, ranging from short to feature-length films, screened at international film festivals such as the Semaine de la Critique, IFF Rotterdam, CPH:DOX, Viennale and Internationale Kurzfilmtage Oberhausen.
He has collaborated with some of the most compelling voices in contemporary Portuguese cinema, such as Duarte Coimbra, Paula Tomás Marques and, more recently, Pedro Ramalhete in his feature film debut, Eternal Flame (2025).
He also served as an assistant editor on Great Yarmouth: Provisional Figures (2022) by Marco Martins, Amelia's Children (2023) by Gabriel Abrantes, Santo António (2026) by Ruben Alves, among others.
His directorial debut short, The Girl from Berlin (2015), a portrait of a bitter reunion between two ex-lovers, won the Brand New Award at IndieLisboa. His following short, Death in August (2023), which explores youth, police violence and video games, received the Schools Award Special Mention at the same festival.
Combining personal archives, internet footage and fictional re-enactments, Live Love Laugh (in post-production) is an autobiographical hybrid documentary that questions the act of creation and the role of memory in a world saturated by new technologies. The project developed from his participation in the 2024 Nouvelle Bug film residency, with mentorship from Andrea Gatopoulos, Total Refusal, Gala Hernández López, and Ismaël Joffroy Chandoutis.
Montador e realizador de cinema. Estudou na Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema de Lisboa. Desde 2017, trabalha como montador em curtas e longas-metragens de ficção e documentário. Montou filmes exibidos em festivais internacionais de cinema, tais como a Semaine de la Critique, IFF Rotterdam, CPH:DOX, Viennale e Internationale Kurzfilmtage Oberhausen.

A sua primeira curta-metragem, A Rapariga de Berlim (2015), sobre o reencontro amargo entre dois ex-namorados, venceu o Prémio Novíssimos no IndieLisboa. A sua curta-metragem seguinte, Morte em Agosto (2023), sobre juventude, violência policial e videojogos, recebeu a Menção Especial do Prémio Escolas no mesmo festival.
Conjugando arquivos pessoais, imagens da internet e reencenações ficcionais, Live Love Laugh (em pós-produção), é um documentário híbrido autobiográfico que questiona o ato de criação e o lugar da memória num mundo atravessado pelas novas tecnologias, entre 2010 e 2026. Nasceu da sua participação na residência de cinema Nouvelle Bug em 2024, com mentoria de Andrea Gatopoulos, Total Refusal, Gala Hernández López e Ismaël Joffroy Chandoutis.
